Volunteer Description: Prepares for each
week’s ‘ohana
study and leads small group discussion.
Volunteer Requirements:
- Has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
- Has been baptized by immersion.
- Has completed Class 101 and is a member of Island
Family Christian Church.
- Has committed to completing all remaining CLASSES
201-501 within a reasonable period of time.
- Has completed Leader Training and agrees to implement
the Leader Values listed below.
- Is able to answer that there are no problems
in the following areas: 1) No current habitual struggles
or moral issues (drugs, alcohol, cohabitation, etc.) that
would bring shame on the name of Jesus Christ or on Island
Family Christian Church, and 2) No current marital struggles
(infidelity, separation, divorce in process, etc.)
- Must support Island Family Christian Church’s
Statement of Faith without any reservation or addition.
Leader Values:
- I will commit, to my best effort, in living an
exemplary Christian lifestyle while supporting the Church’s
leadership and basic doctrinal statements.
- I will commit to learning and growing through
my daily time with the Father and other coaching/training
opportunities provided by the Church.
- I will commit to developing an apprentice and
to cultivate a healthy and balanced group.
- I will commit to including new members and releasing
mature members to start new groups over time. (6-18 months)
- I will commit to seeking balance with both the
Great Commandment and the Great Commission in my group
(“open chair” and multiplication)
- I will commit to regularly attending weekend
services.
Volunteer Description: Provides his/her
home as a meeting place for an ‘ohana group.
Volunteer Requirements:
- Has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
- Has been baptized by immersion.
- Has completed Class 101 and is a member of Island Family
Christian Church.
- Has committed to completing all remaining CLASSES 201-501
within a reasonable period of time.
- Is able to answer that there are no problems in the following
areas: 1) No current habitual struggles or moral issues
(drugs, alcohol, cohabitation, etc.) that would bring shame
on the name of Jesus Christ or on Island Family Christian

to IFCC visitors and members about ‘ohana groups.
- Has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
- Has been baptized by immersion.
- Has completed Class 101 and is a member of Island Family
Christian Church.
- Has committed to completing all remaining CLASSES 201-501
within a reasonable period of time.
- Is currently attending an ‘ohana group
or serves as an ‘ohana facilitator or host.
